Everyone who is reading this who is in the Portland, Oregon area, please watch out for a man named Stephen Couchman, especially if you are a woman who has any potential to get into a relationship with a man.
This man will give you diseases and will lie to and otherwise abuse you, if you get involved with him. He has done this to many girls and it's gotten to the point where I truly feel something should be done, but warning other people, even people I don't know, against him (and those like him) is all I feel is in my power to do.
I know this will seem tacky/tasteless/out-of-bounds to many, but, as I just said, I honestly feel I need to do something about him, based on my personal experiences with him and experiences other people I care very much for have had with him.
Again, his name is Stephen Couchman, and, as far as I know, he is currently living in the Hollywood district of Portland, Oregon. He is an abusive person and he will hurt you if you get involved with him (and, chances are, he will try to get you involved with him). Please stay away from him.

Today the local public library started their autumntime used-book sale...I went and purchased 32 books fer very cheap, including The White Goddess, The Second Sex, The Beauty Myth, The Green Mile, Story Of O., Hygieia, a bunch of other books about fashion and other parts of the beauty industry...a bunch of other novels that I'm hoping aren't shitty but prolly are...WHEEET. Today is a great day. I am always inordinately excited when I increase my personal collection of interesting books that I'll get around to reading one day I swear. XD

First of all, get-well wishes to Sylvie the now-tailless gibboncat. I am sure Momma Aerin will take awesomesox care of you.
*ahem* While I am pissed off about the passage of Prop 8 (and other amendments like it), I am less upset about it than I supposed I would be. The foot is in the door, and there's no stepping back. I'll bet money that, before I turn 30 (that is, within the next decade), gay marriage will have been permanently legalized in more states than Massachusetts and Connecticut. And I plan to be personally involved in the accomplishment of this. So booyah.
